I am proud and honored to be a doula. Yes, I get to see babies being born, but more importantly, I serve the mother in what is assuredly one of her most vulnerable moments. Birth is transformative, powerful, and emotional. I am dedicated to being a reassuring, knowledgeable presence for the women I support as they make their own personal transformation from woman to mother.
After working in International Education and Admissions for 10 years and living in the Netherlands, New Zealand, New York City, and Los Angeles, my family relocated to Atlanta in 2016. Atlanta gave me the opportunity to explore my interest in birth work. I became a certified childbirth educator in 2016 and taught classes for 2 years. In 2018 I completed my doula certification with Birth Boot Camp. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Missouri.
